it is hilarious to me.

so blizzard always tries to pull an april fools joke for their loyal WoW disciples. they got the jump on it early by posting on the european servers that the would be a "pimp my mount" feature added soon, allowing you to add such thing as gun turrets and exhaust pipes to you kitty cat. lol

the second step was to change the format of the posts on their forums so they told a story in a sort of olde english style, with a modern twist.... such as...



Readying his best moves, Scabandari hoped the "Iron Lotus" would be enough to secure that final quarter star.

“STFU”, he uttered, finding only one word to sum up his feelings: SCRUMTRILESCENT.

Mopping the dew from his moist visage, he looked to the sky and waved his feline companion, Mr. Fiddlebritches.

which i thought was classic because all the forum kiddies cant stand to read all the extra verbage to see the 4 letter post someone else made.

but the third joke was by far my favorite. saying that they plan to add an in-game dance battle player vs player system, with all the effort they put into setting it up made me literally LOL.

it seems many WoW related sites also pulled jokes. a source of my paladin tanking knowledge maintankadin threw up a hello kitty layout. wowhead made their frontpage look just like blizzards armory page making you think you went to the wrong page lol. warcraftpets got in on the joke and posted a fake new pet.

the only one i'm not sure of is my paladin hero, or heroine as the case may be, is ferraro's taking down all her posts except her guides, posting a picture of the blizzard entrance, the day after somewhat posting her character (though not her main) armory link. i can't figure out if we are supposed to think she has been sequestered, hired, or quitting her blog. *shrugz* and it's not like i put her on here in my fanboi hopes of having a hawt video game/pop culture goddess post on my lil bloggie, even though i did finally add her as a blog i follow.... ok your right i did it specifically for that.
