i now feel bad for the ncaa tourney organizers because some calls you have to make just arent fair. that said here is the first bracket....

  • Hewitt defeats Bell (close one)

    Theron downs Larter (super powers not-withstanding)

    Moore beats Hathaway (despite the horrible IMDB pictures)

    Devon slices Nguyen in half (since I had too choose one of them)

    Lilly makes Vincent disappear

    Portman crushes Chabert like a bug

    Peregrym punches Kruger in the face

    Smart defeats Bynes (Bynes was in a lot of kid shows Tom used to watch, too creepy.

    Overall, this was a solid bracket. The odds of the overall winner coming out of this bracket are slim, but anything is possible.

    =a tie. so i guess my vote splits the tie...

    hewitt wins.

    maybe if charlize stayed a little younger or didnt do the award winning performance in monster she would have beat ali larter... but you have to admit charlize's ass looked great in cider house rules!

    despite's anne try to boost her career by baring the breastses in both havoc and brokeback mtn, she couldn't fend off the sweetheart mandy moore.

    i guess tila tequila still can't find love as devon pulls off the decapitation yet again.

    evangeline pulls off the sweep even though i've only ever seen cerina in 2 roles and she was nekkid in both. in the immortal words of al pacino "she's got a great ass!"

    poor lacey lost out to portman's popularity. i think you all just need to watch mean girls and lost in space more. lacey certainly had my vote. way to go ms hershlag (portman's real last name)

    peregrym vs kruger also comes down to a tie... while i certainly wouldn't kick diane out of my bed, missy is going to win it for me.

    i guess amanda is just too young for most of ya as amy smart beat her pretty easily. i never saw the kids shows everyone else did so my vote was for bynes. :-(

    round 2 of the east bracket will happen after the other 1st round brackets have finished.
