thanksgiving dinner?

so fo the last few years i been spending thanksgiving alone... and making dinner for myself. usually with the free turkey the local grocery store gives for spending $250 in store in the preceeding weeks. well i almost have my free bird again, but last year i started to debate whether one of these might make a better dinner. http://www.cajungrocer.com/product_info.php?cPath=15_24&products_id=340

has anyone tried one? any reviews? how about a deep fried turkey? i'm not against trying something new...especially when it's only me that will be disappointed if it tastes horrible or is a disaster like the turkey from christmas vacation that deflates and is "a little dry"
